We’re not too sure about the Donga headline, but we do know that Michelle Wie is playing in the 2004 Evian Masters, which begins tomorrow in Evian France.

According to the Donga piece “Wie will tee-off on July 21, 6:10 p.m., paired up with Nabisco Championship winner Park Ji-eun, and last year’s rookie of the year, Lorena Ochoa (Mexico).”

Also of note from the Donga piece is this quote from Daddy Wie:

If Michelle goes to Stanford and stays as an amateur, she is very much interested in playing on the men’s team.

So far as we can tell there isn’t any televised coverage here in the U.S. so do Visit Wie Blog as we cover her play during the week. The Evian will be covered by The Golf Channel.
